HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!
specially for tonight, i'm gonna blog bout the day itself. this is like a rare footage cause recently i've been blogging bout late entries. so yeah. here goes.
oh fuck. smthing's wrong and i cant upload all the fotos.
but still, i wanna blog bout this. so this will be a photoless entry.
met up with sheryl and jiafang earlier and we decided on a place to eat. so we walked around and decided on yuki yaki. its this place thats like seoul garden but has a steamboat, a sushi conveyor belt and self made ice cream too. its really cool. located at cineleisure. charlene and cecilia joined us later. so we just ate and ate and ate.
then they passed me my presents. i got 5 presents. each representing each of us. and also not forgeting a card.
in sheryl's case, i got a heart shape mrs fields cookie with the letters TLLM in blue sugar icing on it.
in jiafang's case, i got a stuffed toy. but its super cute and funny. so i like it. its from ty beanie babies. its called nutty. and no suprise, its a squirrel. a cute squirrel like jiafang. there's this tag attached to it that says ...

haha.uber-cute.
in cecilia's case, they got me pink hello kitty marshmellows filled with strawberry jam. i love marshmellows. and cecilia is like a giant pink strawberry hello kitty mascot although she denies her love affair with all things pink.
in charlene's case, they got me a nivea deodarant. cause jf say i stink. i do? well, i dont get the logic on this part of the present. but still i like it.
and finally, to represent me. they bought me a super sized condom. its so huge that i can put my fist in and still have space. but hey, action speaks louder than words. well, yeah. its true. hahaha.
and yeah theres a card too with stuff that i dont like omited. i hate when ppl buy a nice card and just write happy birthday and best wishes. like might as well get a card with a writen little smthing in it and jus sign it. but these lovely girls filled the entire card with paragraphs.i love it.
i love the presents alot. but i love my frens more. i love them too much that i feel sad cause this will be our last semester in sch. we wont see each other as much as before. but hey, as long as we have each other in our hearts and fond memories to treasure, nobody will be forgotten by anybody. and also we should meet up at leaast once a month. gosh. too mushy already. better stop.
alright. it was great fun. i enjoyed my 19th birthday.

how are y'all doin?
to those who are having sch holidays, lets have fun and enjoy it while it last.
to those who are schooling, look at the bright side, at least u get to meet up with your frens. and its not as boring as sitting at home doing nothing.
to those who are working. work hard and do well for the economy. but dont forget to take 'soupy snack' breaks.
to those who are in ns. well, train hard to protect the nation. and i will be joining u guys next year. bleah.
today's date is the 22nd of october 2005. that leaves 6 more days to a very special occasion.
what, you may ask?
22 + 6= 28october
its my birthday u dukoo dummies!!! that's a hershey kisses cake by the way. yummy *hint*
and i know from personal experiences that it's quite frustrating to look for a present for a friend's birthday present. it's like what to get and what not to get? will he like it? well, cast all your worries aside. i'm gonna help you solve this problem of what to get for my birthday.
firstly, no photo frames. i detest photo frames. i dun use photo frames. all the frames i've received are collecting dust somewhere in my cabinet.
secondly, i believe that every present should be accompanied by a card. it doesnt have to be an expensive one from hallmark. i'd even prefer it if u made it yourself from simple card paper. and of course, when you've gotten the card please dont write stuff like 'best wishes' or 'may all your dreams come true'. i find them corny and redundant. there's only two reasons why someone writes such a thing on a card. firstly, they cant be bothered to think of smthing to write(having no idea what to write is a lousy excuse. god gave us a brain for smthing) and secondly, they are pressured for time. as in they jus bought the card 5minutes ago which they took 1 minute to choose. all this little little factors shows how much effort the person/people put in for the present.
thirdly, tops(tshirts) and bottoms are a big no-no. this is because first, you cant assume the right size for a person. different shops have different cutting for their clothes. also, you cant assume that it'll fit by asking a fren whom you think is of the same built to try it on. second, when you're out buying a t-shirt, you are most likely to purchase what u like rather than what the recepient likes. this means that what u'll buy may not be what the person likes. other factors affecting would be quality, material-wise(some people dont wear certain materials) and color(some people dont wear certain colors, ie, white). however there is an exclusion clause here. if earlier on the person has hinted or shown interest in a piece then its okay to get it.
fourthly, a planner. its those kind of book that has dates where u can plan your week. of course also u have to consider the size of the planner. it musnt be too big that its heavy or too small that its hard to write. its all about practicality.
fithly, no stuffed toys. that is jus way gross. especially for a guy and especially especially for a guy who's nineteen.
sixthly, no money allowed. the only people allowed to give money would be family members. giving money means you cant be bothered to put in effort and expect the recipient to buy his own present. that is wrong. however, vouchers are fine. it shows u've given a thought for the present but you're literally clueless on what to get, but knows that the recepient would like smthing from that place the voucher is derived. vouchers to avoid would be supermarket and popular bookshop. unless of course the recepient is your aunty. and when you're giving vouchers, do accompany it with something 'warm' as vouchers are 'cold' objects. warm stuff would be a simple present like a card, cookies, etc.
seventhly, essential oils or scented candles are fine. choices of scent would be vanilla, strawberry or mint.
eighthly, toileteries are fine. toiletries here does not mean pantene, colgate or dettol. i'd give blatant hints here. shower gel from body shop in papaya, strawberry or satsuma. shower gel also from l'occitane in vanilla. oatmeal body scub from the natural source. body lotion in vanilla scent only. eau de toilette from hugo boss energise. mint lip balm with vitamin E from donno where. hairstyling clay from Lucido L. please dun buy anything thats not stated here. it'll just be a waste of your money.
ninethly, dun get me a thumb drive. my home computer cant use one.
tenthly, acessories are fine. accerssories here would mean caps from flash and splash. wristbands would be nice. no wristbands from rastafari please. i prefer my wristbands simple. socks are ok too. just make sure they're cotton and either black or grey. canvas belts in bright colours ie, red. nokia 6610i cover in anything but blue or pink.
eleventhly, no treating me to food of any kind unless of course it a birthday cake.
twelvethly, no cds or vcds unless i hinted that i want the specific one. dvds are strictly not allowed cause i have no dvd player.
thirteenthly, the sims 2. please.

heys ants,
firstly, many thanks to everyone that wished me good luck for the results today. i really really really needed that. so results was to be out at 8.30am today online. so i woke up at 9 to check it. the server was really slow. and guess wad time did i only managed to view the the login page? 9.45am. gosh. and so, i logged in and everything went well. i passed. =) i was really on tenterhooks waiting for the results to be out. i feared my financial management paper the most. i left 3 questions blank cause my mind jus went blank at that point of time. well, i got a subsidiary pass which means that i failed but the teachers like my face so they gave me a pass. yippie doodles.
hmm. as for now, lets take the time machine back saturday, 10 september 2005.
i had a study grant presentation ceremony to attend at my father's club. it was at ourtam or smthing so me and my family jus took a cab there.
the ceremony happened. i got the cheque. attended the reception buffet. went home.
that was it. in short. didnt take many photos so i'll jus post one here.

so the five of us, sheryl, jiafang, cecilia, charlene and yours truly went to jurong point to celebrate cecilia's birthday after the much dreaded finacial paper.
we jus sat around and chilled. had lunch and all. during lunch we(sheryl, charlene and me) decided to sneak away to buy a cake for her. we gave the excuse that we were going to buy drinks. yah right.
so what do you get for someone who loves pink.
a pink strawberry cake of course!!!
well i dont seem to have a lot of fotos for this. i think my camera died on me on that day.
so later we went to the arcade cause we had nowhere else to go.
me and sheryl. its a bit dark though. and we're holding guns by the way.

the foto's a bit of a blur cause we asked her to give us a fierce angry expression and i was trembling in fear. hehe.
after that we went home. another nice day. wow, i'm jus having soo many nice days lately. i truly am blessed.

even though u're gorgeous, i still love you. why wouldnt anyone? and you're my number one business client. haha.
coincidentally as well, today happens to be my business development phase 2, marketing and management phase.
i'm not even gonna talk about the hecticity of the few hours before the presentation. all that's important is that the presentation went well.

clothes by van heusen. they make the most fabulous executive wear.
i wore a bow tie for my presentation. i've always wanted to. haha. Mrs Sarah Lim says i look like a gynaecologist. gosh.
presentation went great and i look fabulous. oh, the powerpoint was gorgeous too. specially dolled up by yours truly. you can always expect OTT chic when i'm doing powerpoints. loves it.
met up with sheryl and jiafang afterwards. we just chilled in da library.

so it was a typical tuesday class started at nine and ended at five. it was already pre-agreed that five of us, namely, me, sheryl, jiafang, cecilia and of course the birthday gal, charlene to go out an celebrate her birthday after school. and i love going out. it puts me in a natural high.

well so after school. we all met up and decided on a place to go. since we all stayed on the red mrt line. we decided upon causeway point cause like its in the centre for everyone. after much contemplation we settled on pizza hut. its been ages since i had pizza hut. so kinda looking forward to it.
ordered yummy food. it was really nice but i didnt really ate much cause i had diarhoea few days before that. so after all that food we decided to take a neoprint.

so it was a typical tuesday class started at nine and ended at five. it was already pre-agreed that five of us, namely, me, sheryl, jiafang, cecilia and of course the birthday gal, charlene to go out an celebrate her birthday after school. and i love going out. it puts me in a natural high.

well so after school. we all met up and decided on a place to go. since we all stayed on the red mrt line. we decided upon causeway point cause like its in the centre for everyone. after much contemplation we settled on pizza hut. its been ages since i had pizza hut. so kinda looking forward to it.
ordered yummy food. it was really nice but i didnt really ate much cause i had diarhoea few days before that. so after all that food we decided to take a neoprint.

hi ants,
okay. i checked and its not that bad. my entries are not like 2 months late. they're only one month late. haha. well then, this entry dates back to 19 august. 2005 that is.

first and foremost,
happy birthday serene!!!
although u have bigger muscles than me, u still rox!
well, i went for the web class on friday morning. our teacher went for a many weeks reservist so we had no teacher but since i wanted to get attendance marked, i came for the sake of attendance.
reached class at fucking 8.30am only to see that only one gal was in the class. found out later that tecaher already pre-marked our attendance. that means i can practically skip all the lesson and still got my attendance marked. hooray!
serene, sheryl and jiafang also arrived later only to find out that they've been deceived(in the case of attendance). well, we found a nice blue bench where we could chill, have breakfast and study for a test we had later in the day.

so we jus got really bored and decided to take some fotos.

then we got back to studying. oh. when i meant we, as in they all. i'm not the type that studies in groups. i tend to talk or simply stone. its too distracting. but i do enjoy group studies. to talk, that is.

and some classmates came later and passed serene her birthday presents. that made her happy from all that studying.
doesnt she look lovely. only for that day of course. other days she'd be in canoe training clothes. bleah. posing present we got her.
so later we packed up and left for the test.
it went well and after that we had a financial make-up class.
some classmates of mine went all the way to foodcourt 5 to buy a cake to suprise serene in class later. in class i told ms audrey lai bout wads gonna happen and she was sporting enough to let it happen. she rox! so later they brought the cake in and serene got a suprise. well, u get the story.
so we had cake. creamy chocolate cake.
if there's one word to describe this foto, it is Gluttony!

hurrah hurrah!
exams have finally ended but i not be esctatic. i'm shivering in fear for the results of some papers. well, in the weeks to come, business development phase 2 report submission, work, fasting month, watching tonnes of vcds and of course catching up on my blogging entries(they're like 2months late right now). haha.
i'm not really a fan of semestral holidays as i usually end up bored to death. i prefer mini holidays here and there. anyways, this holiday i'm gonna accomplish some stuff. one of them would be to paint my room. its either gonna be olive green or dirty gold.
i'm in love with this music video by jessica simpson called 'these boots were meant for walking'. it's jus way fucking hot. *drools*

i shall take a mini hiatus from blogging(not like i've been blogging much anyway) as of now till after the exams. the exam timetable is quite pack with each paper being on alternate days. and can u believe it, i havent even started. anyways,i shall resume blogging when exams are over and as well as when i finish my BusinessDevelopment phase 2 report. submission date is oct the 3rd.

wassup ants,
guess wad? i made konyakus today. it had a lychee in each mold. i made three flavours, panadan, strawberry and banana. haha. those were the only flavourings i can find in my kitchen. after that i cooked black pepper prawns for dinner. mummy and daddy said it was l0veLy!!! yay!!! i made dinner and dessert. yummilicious!
gonna use this entry to blog bout my escape trip part 2. sorry for the delay was busy with rushing of projects and other stuff.

after that spinning ride thingy. it was getting really hot cause it was like in the middle of noon. so decided to cool down by getting wet and wild.
its this ride that u have to wait really long before u reach the top and when u get down, u get splashed with mirky dirty water all over ur face, ur shirt and there even water in the boat that when u seat, the dirty water seeps right into ur underwear. grosteque.
although it was really disgusting and stuff but it was really one of my favourite rides there. cause its always fun to get wet and wild. so after doing it for like 3times. decided to walk around to dry ourselves. imagine walking around escape drenched. haha. while walking, we caught sight of this stall that sold mega humungo cotton candy.
i had to get it. i simply must.
puisan had to get it too. she simply must.
we're sugar freaks.
took a ferris wheel afer that. it was like a mini ferris wheel. like mini as in for kids. the two of us had to literally squeeze into one compartment.
but hey. at least it had a nice view.
the whole escape to escape didnt really turn out as we expected. we were tired, hot, sticky and bored of all the same stuff. it later became 'Escape From Escape'
goodbye.
walk down to downtown east later. there was a stall selling corn dog there. and decided to give it a try. it had chicken and melted cheese in in. tasted abit like waffle hotdog with cheese. but it was yummy.
decided to had a go at the arcade there. truth be told, i had more fun at that arcade. i playedmarvel vs capcom.
and guess wad i got 4th place. haha. my fighters were morrigan and wolverine. see!
played some other game that garnered tickets and we won a mechanical pencil and a liquid paper.
there was some pirate show thingy near wild wild wet.
and decided to take a pic at this lovely fountain.mmind you, it was still hot as hell.
on the bus to pasir ris mrt, we were all dead tired.
but managed to shop around white sands shopping centre later. bought a diana ross cd at a steal. bought also this fann wong pictorial book. although it was in chinese but hey, whatever makes me happy.
it was a tiring day. on the way back puisan translated the whole fann wong pictorial book to me. cause i still can read nuts of chinese. it was a looooooong journey home.
it was truly an Escape From Escape.
