let me give you updates about...


monday.

talk about monday blues. i woke up, turn on the radio and a lady sings the blues. i have adopted a rather wierd ritual lately. when i wake up in the morning, i'll turn on the radio. whatever song they're playing, is how my day will be. for example, let say i wake up to some angsty songs on hatred, i'll feel agitated and hatred. haha. i noe it sounds rather riduculous. but i believe everything happens for a reason. that exact song was on air at that particular time for a purpose.

so,monday was boring. nothing much happened. again. i was playing the sims again. again. my mother was puzzled how a game like the sims could be entertaining. so to her favourite son from going brain dead, she asked him to tag along to NTUC. yay.

ntuc is damn far from my house. its like 3 bustops walk away. but i needed the exercise anyway. so we were there and we browsed thru every item that catches our eye. i bought a choco chip cookies mix and also a blueberry muffin mix. haha. i love to bake. it helps me to pass time during the holidays. when we finished our grocery shopping, we realised that we spent 3hrs in NTUC alone. so we had dinner after that.

at night, the malay guys from my secondary sch came visiting in the festive season of hari raya. its been a year since i've seen them. and the last time i saw them was when they came visiting for hari raya too. haha. so 8 of us jus sat and chatted. but it wasnt a lot of chatting cause we've been away from each other too long that it almost feels awkward to talk about stuff. which in this case, i had no idea wad to talk about. took some fotos, ate and they left.

i miss all my secondary sch friends. i wish we could all meet up one day. =)


tuesday.

nothing much happened on tueday except for that i baked my choco chip cookies. i bought walnuts to put them in. but the walnuts smelt funny. i initially thought they smelt like that till my mother told me that they've turn bad. so i discarded them and went to the store to get new nuts. so i baked and baked. they turned out nice and crispy. yippie. thank god for all the cooking shows i've been watching. who says u dont learn anything from the television?

at night, while i was watching phua chu kang. it's dawned on me that their plot is rather thin and their jokes are becoming too lame and boring. not worth watching anymore. after that, living with lydia was telecast. i find living with lydia more entertaining that PCK. but i was cringing throughout the entire show dur to one reason. there was this special guest in that night's episode. he's a rather veteran chinese actor in mediacorp. but somehow, he got lost and appeared in an english drama. i plead mediacorp never to inivite chinese speaking artist to guest star in an english sitcom. its ridiculous. and if they really have to, please send them for english class. his conversation, pronounciation was ulteriorly cheena-fied. which meant that he had a damned chinese accent. so evertime he mis pronounced a word, i cringed. later, my mother switched off the fan as she thought i was cold cause i looked like i was shivering which in actual fact, i was cringing too many times.

time 12.05am.

on sp website, it was posted that on 24 nov, semestral exams result will be released. so, being singaporeans, we revealed that kiasuism hasnt died off inside of us. suddenly at this time, my msn has a lot of sp people. and logging on to the sp website was really slow. really really slow. too many people are logging in at the same time. thus the server is reaching its breaking point. and when i finally got to the website after 45minutes, they put there that exams results will be out on 24/11/2004.. in other words tmr morning or smthing la. sheesh.


wednesday.

i woke up this morning and the first thing i did was switched on my computer to check for the results. and its out. i passed all my subjects. rather happy but i was expecting better grades.

anyways. i was out with liat today. i had to cancel my outing with min and lin cause today was the last day dat liat would be free as he would be overseas till sch reopens from tmr onwards. and another reason was dat they said that if result teir results came out bad, they dint wanna go out. so i had to reschedule. sorry guys. i still love you so we go out next week k. i love you too.

haha. anyways. today we met at 11.30. its the ealiest i've woken up ever since the holidays. so we met and went to city hall. my favourite hang out is city hall. all of my close frens know that i like city hall alot. although sumtimes i find it boring. the place is nice and not too many ppl. so we went to have some food. then went to the arcade. after that was just some light hearted shopping. bought a puma bag. a bum shirt. a key tag. i wanted to buy the fleece from samuel and kevin but i seemed to have forgotten to bring my atm card. and i had no cash available left. nvm, will get it another day. i wan to buy converse shoes that matches my bag. hmm. will go in search for it tmr.

tmr, i'm going out with sharif. we are going to queensway shopping centre. search for shoes. and other back to school stuff. that is back to sch for me. and not him. cause he's going to hell a.k.a National Service. i'll give him some postcards so that he can write back. should i include stamps? erm, do they have mailboxes in Tekong?
